We had a selection of pregnancy and birth books. By far the most irritating was by Doctor Miriam Stoppard. She gave us this excellent advice: 'if you leak colostrum in the final stages of pregnancy, wipe it away with a tissue'. There are few things more useless than a rubbish 'expert' book, and few more useful than a tale from a fellow traveller. Very tempted to track that book down.
